Hot Summer Romance Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Hot Summer Romance Giveaway Hop! Around 150 authors are participating in this hop sponsored by the Insatiable Reads Book Tour.

Since you’re here, I’m guessing you’re just like me, and you have your Kindle all loaded up with steamy reads for your summer vacation. Whether it be a trip to be beach, a resort, a cruise or camping, books are your best friend on trips.

I’m headed to Hawaii in September for my 10th wedding anniversary. Yay! (Can’t wait, Honey! Talk about romance!).

This is the first plane trip I’ve been on since being addicted to ebooks. Not to mention that airlines charge high fees for even the first checked bag now — and since we’ll be traveling with two young children and their carseats, we’re going to need to check baggage. So the idea that I can take my Kindle, iPad and iPhone and have CHOICES of what to read on the flight and during the trip, without even the weight of a laptop or a single paperback, is radical!

In celebration of ebooks and hot summer romance, please take me up on a free paranormal romance for your Kindle! My recent release Flight is free on Amazon through the 22nd.

Flight (Children of the Sidhe, #3)

Nathan Jeffries doesn’t entirely understand his affinity for hawks, until he finds he can shift into one. Fae blood is to blame for his good looks and luck with the ladies – but now that luck has turned. Nathan is on an Otherworld assassin’s hit list, and the only person stepping forward to help him just may be playing for the other side in the Sidhe Blood Wars.

Tessa Anndrais isn’t sure where she stands. When Abarta – the assassin – threatens to reveal a family secret, she’s determined to protect her own. She’s never approved of thinning Sidhe blood by mixing with humans. Yet she finds herself watching Nathan, the half-human son of the Lord of the Skies, with enough approval to keep her warm all through the night.

  6. I like romance because of the focus upon the characters and the growth of a relationship. I prefer character driven fiction in general. Plus I do love my happy endings!

  9. In real life, we aren’t guaranteed a happily ever after. We also forget how to find the magic. When I read romance, I can find my HEA, and I can get lost in the magic of different realms, different lives, and have not only power, but magical power. What a life. michelle_willms@yahoo.com

  10. The thing (or better, things) that keep me coming back to reading romance include the hope for the happy ending (which I do prefer), feeling those first feelings of love with the characters, hoping for the characters to get together and waiting for the annoying characters to get lost! I also like the impossible to become the possible all because of the written word and the wonderfulness the author can bring to a life (my own!) that can seem so mundane and dull at times. You go authors!!

Thank you for the chance to enter the giveaway and I hope everyone has a super summer!

  12. I love books about the Fae, and I guess what keeps me reading romance are the book boyfriends. I don’t have to listen to them and if they annoy me, well then I just close the book.

  13. I love the build up to a HEA, the journey. Thanks for the chance at these great giveaways and for participating in the hop!

  14. I love romance because I get to live in the stories with the characters! They are my fairy tales 🙂 Thank you so much for being a part of this hop and for giving me the opportunity to win! usmcwifey1(at)live(dot)com

  15. I like romance in my story, because even when everything else in the world around the characters can be going horribly wrong (like in a murder mystery or urban fantasy), romance can help make it seem like it will be ok again. Thanks!

  16. Hi! I love…the romance. lol The HEA, how we can connect with the characters. How the romance seems real, and possible for anyone. And i love that when im having a bad day or even when i feel blah, i can pick up a book, loose myself in it and travel all over. Each book is different, unique, different, genres and tropes. I never know how a book is gonna go and i love it!! Thank you for the fun hop and giveaway! 🙂
