Hi! I’m J.R. Pearse Nelson. Nice to meet you!

I write fantasy and paranormal romance and cozy mysteries. I’m a native Oregonian, residing in the beautiful Corvallis area. I live with my husband and two teens and plenty of local wildlife (including deer & wild turkeys & some of the biggest gray squirrels I’ve ever met in my life). I’m always searching for the magic in our world. I love to weave tales rooted in mythology, bringing legend to life in modern-day and fantasy settings. I’m the author of the Aeon Society and Of the Blood fantasy romance series, the Foulweather Twins fantasy series, and the Water Rites fantasy series, among other things.
