Yay! Another little break from work. This one will be centered around several family members coming into town, most of whom we only see a few times a year. We shall gather at the pool, and over bbq, and hopefully in homes more air-conditioned than ours. Today is our first in a string of a few days supposed to come in around the 100 degree mark. It’s 101 outside right now. Our bedroom window unit just isn’t doing the job today. Ah well.
I’m off work through Monday. Rock on! Hopefully my word counts will show it. But writing can’t be my first priority, either. That’s okay, I’m just a few days behind my goal.
